When I'm behind my Nikon, I enjoy photographing people I know. I'm not a professional photographer, but I've always enjoyed capturing my friends and family during moments that they might otherwise forget or take for granted. Watching a show, eating dinner, or reading a book are moments in our everyday lives that might blend in with one another because they happen often. They might not be as unique as a wedding, graduation, or birth of a baby. But it's the consistency of these everyday moments that make them memorable and worthy of recording. These activities happen often and regularly and shape who we are more significantly than the once-in-a-lifetime events that most people want captured on film. My joy comes from helping people see and feel the significance of the small moments in their lives, as well as the big ones.
